iSight photo booth needs Macro

I have been painting some gaming minis. So far I've completed about five that I started years ago. It's hard to tell how long these take from start to finish, since I often have a dozen or so on my table at various stages of completion.

Anyway, I need a better camera to shoot them with. The webcam built into this iMac doesn't do well at extreme close-ups. I used to lay them on the surface of my old UMAX scanner which did pretty well, but as I've upgraded other equipment it had to retire (new computers lacking a SCSI port). The new HP scanner I have built into my printer is fine for documents but doesn't have the depth of field to image even these small 3D objects.

At least you get a sense of scale with this, even if the details are blurry and washed-out. The figure is temporarily glued to a bottle cap for easier handling during painting. Background is the inside of my black felt fedora.
